When the metal is still in its “raw” state, it needs to be transformed into a functional piece, ready to be used. Mechanical processing does just that: it removes the material in a controlled process to achieve the desired shape and high accuracy.
The process usually begins with rough machining, to remove excess material, and continues with the finishing process, to achieve the required dimensions and output. Depending on the project, processes such as turning, milling and drilling and fitting operations may be planned.
